Making Crystal Elixirs and Infusions

One of the most convenient ways to enjoy the benefits of crystals is through the use of elixirs and infusions…. Elixirs are extracts or tinctures that retain or extract the quintessential substance of a thing, this case being crystals….Infusions are liquids that are infused with something, namely a crystal.

Crystal Infusions.

Perhaps the easiest and simplest method is to add the selected crystal to a bottle of water or any beverage. NB. Make sure it is not a dissolvable or toxic crystal. Whenever you take a drink you will also be drinking the vibration or energy of the crystal. Please make sure not to swallow the crystal.

Making an elixir is a simple process. You will need a quantity of pure water, a glass beaker; here you may substitute a glass jug or even a vase as long as it is clear and clean. A fine net jug cover or a piece of hose as in pantyhose or stocking will also be required. A length of string or a large elastic band. And add to this the stones that will be necessary to complete your recipe.

The method:

Three quarters fill your beaker with pure water. Then secure the netting over the top of the jug with your string or elastic band. Allow it to sag a little in the middle. You now place your selected stones on the netting, ensuring they are above the water. Now sit them out in a safe place in the daylight for a couple of hours. Any time of the day is alright, but the morning light/energy seems to be best. Between 9 & 11 am is my preferred time. Alternatively, you can place the crystals directly in the water. But be sure you are not using any dissolvable or toxic crystals. If you are placing the crystals directly in the water, it is a good idea to cover them with a glass lid or cling wrap, or netting to prevent insects from getting into the mix.

All you need do now is drink it. If you wish, it may be stored in the refrigerator. You cannot overdose on the elixir so you may drink as much or as little as you wish. Many elixirs are best treated as a sip, i.e. you take little sips as often as desired or as you feel the need.
