Crystal Pendulum Story | A Collection of Anecdotes About Using Pendulums.

Stories are a great way to learn about things. A Crystal Pendulum Story is a collection of anecdotes that teach some of the dos and don’ts of using a pendulum. With over 20 odd years as crystal retailers and healers, we have gathered many such stories and share a few of them here with you.

As the storyteller of these crystal pendulum stories, we have no reason to doubt their truthfulness. These stories are recalled as accurately as we can remember.

Tom’s Crystal Pendulum Story: Ya Gotta See This!

Tom ran up and asked, ‘What are they?’ as he pointed at the pendulum stand. ‘Pendulums,’ I said, ‘magical truth revealers are what they are’. ‘What da ya mean?’ ‘Here, let me show you,’ I said.

I took one and did the usual show me a Yes, show me a No routine. Then, on to my standard question, ‘Is it going to rain today?’ The pendulum began to move and went into my Yes movement routine. I then explained how the question was too broad, as it was bound to be raining somewhere. “Is it going to rain here today? I continued. I got a No, so it seemed it wouldn’t rain where we were.

He got an amazed look on his face and ran away. A minute or so later, he was dragging his mum by the hand to our market stall. ‘Show my mum, show her, ’ he demanded. So, I started again and naturally got the same answers again. He exclaimed,’ See, Mum, you told Dad it wasn’t going to rain and we could come to the markets.

A man walked up beside them. ‘Is this my dad?’ he asked. Using the pendulum, I got a No answer. He looked at me, then pointed to a man across the way. ‘Is he?’ he asked. This time, I got a Yes. He ran over shouting, ‘Dad, Dad, you gotta see this’.

It seems that not only can a pendulum be accurate, but it can provide entertainment as well!

Ross’s Crystal Pendulum Story: Buying the Right Car.

Ross’s car is a lemon, and he doesn’t want a repeat experience with his next car. Since buying his last car, he has learned about crystals and using a pendulum. On his way home from work, he saw a Mazda Miata being moved onto the car lot. Over the last six months, he has talked about and dreamed of owning a sports car. The next day, he had his girlfriend and his pendulum in the car yard. A Mazda Miata was on top of his shortlist.

He preferred buying second-hand and about two years old, with no heavy despeciation and all the bugs worked out. He was getting all the right answers. Reliability, well-treated, and regular servicing. He was happy with the price and reckoned this was the car for him. His girlfriend was observing him and his pendulum. When he asked if he should buy this car, she felt his response was too strong. He was chomping at the bit and also too eager to buy.

Somehow, she persuaded him to hold off buying for a day or two. It would still be there if it was meant to be. She knew you could override the pendulum, especially if you really wanted a certain outcome.

Using a double-blind to get the right answer.

She also had full faith in a pendulum to help you get the right answer and make the best decision. She gathered two pieces of paper and envelopes. Wrote ‘yes’ on one and ‘no’ on the other, then folded them and placed one in each envelope. Now she had Ross hold his pendulum over the first one, and ask ‘Should I buy this car rego number ooo xxx’? ‘Yes’ was written on the envelope. This was repeated over the next envelope, and the pendulum indicated ‘yes, also.

Opening the first envelope revealed ‘yes’. The second envelope had ‘no’ inside. He looked at his girlfriend, confused with the answer. She explained that two positives make a positive, and a positive and a negative is negative. You got ‘no’ confirmed as your answer.

He took some convincing, but he let the car go. He mainly went along because the lemon he currently drove was an emotional decision.

His Pendulum Set the Way.

Ten days later, he was taking a different route home, detouring to visit a friend. There in the front yard was a Mazda Miata, and a man was placing a FOR SALE sign on it. This private sale was $4,000.00 less than the one in the car yard. The man explained how he loved his car and was only selling it because of his failing eyesight.

Ross phoned his girlfriend immediately and had her join him. His pendulum confirmed this was a great buy. After a test drive, and subject to a REVS and mechanical check, the deal was done.

Sean’s Crystal Pendulum Story: My Pendulum Saved My Job.

Sean told me he loved his job until a new department head came in. For months now, this man made his life difficult. If it wasn’t for also having to look after his sick wife, he would have walked ages ago.

One night, he came home and found his wife playing with a pendulum, and he asked her what it was about. He was curious and fascinated as she asked and got answers to different questions. A few days later, he had his own crystal pendulum. It was more of a game and a bit of fun for him. He asked things like, ‘Is this the best TV show to watch now? Is it in my best interest to go for a walk? Can I leave the dishes?’ What he called innocent and unimportant questions.

One night, in frustration, he asked if he should quit his job. He got a negative answer. About a week later, he asked again and got the same response. This couldn’t be right, he was so unhappy at work. Surely, he would be better off elsewhere. For weeks, he kept asking the same question in different ways, but the answer remained the same. No!

One night, he asked, ‘Is it in my overall best interest to leave my job?’ Again, no was the answer. Annoyed and frustrated, he set his pendulum aside. Regardless of the pendulum, he made up his mind to start looking for another job.

Luckily, he wasn’t having too much luck in the job stakes. He was still there when his boss unexpectedly quit. He was asked to fill in at first and then later if he would be permanent.

His pendulum was right. He simply hadn’t asked about time frames. And yes, he loves his job again!

Claire’s Crystal Pendulum Story: Which Book?

Claire rang us to thank us for the crystal pendulum she received from us. She was delighted with her purchase. Her new pendulum was steady, as in it didn’t shake like her old one. It gave clear, concise answers, and she was ready to put it to work. She already used one to help make decisions easier, and she said it also saved lots of time. It was really handy when deciding which books to read and which to leave aside.

She also told us how she had checked the results out. Now and again, she would pick up one of the rejected books and start to read it. Every time, she never got very far before she found herself putting it away, uncompleted. This gave her confidence and trust in using pendulums.

Claire loves books and already has a large collection. Her aunt bequeathed her library to her, which has created a problem. How do you fit a large room full of books into a small apartment? Her first thought was to get a storage unit, but she didn’t want the ongoing rent. That contributed to her reason for buying a new pendulum.

She has room for about 500 books. And she knows her aunt’s taste in books is somewhat different from hers. But she loves books and reading! So, to help her choose about five hundred from the thousands she inherited, she intends to ask a simple question. ‘Should I keep this book?’ If she still has too many, she will go over the chosen ones with a further question. ‘Is this a book I will enjoy?’ The remainder of the books will be donated to charity.

Couple’s Crystal Pendulum Story: The Magical Direction Finder Saves the Day.

When we heard the story about Freya and Dirk getting lost in the bush, we thought about how incredibly lucky they were. Lucky because they had a pendulum. Lucky, also because they broke all the rules and still got to safety. They left their vehicle, their supplies of water and food, and warm clothes. They took what they thought would be a shortcut.

With the false bravado of newcomers to the bush, they struck out to get help after their vehicle broke down. A few hours later, they realised they weren’t where they thought they were heading. Panic and fear set in, but luckily, they managed to calm themselves and think. That’s when Freya remembered her pendulum in her pocket.

Facing first up and then down the road, they asked the pendulum if this was the right direction. Whenever they got to a fork or an intersection, they inquired for the right direction to safety. Following the affirmatives, they made it to safety. They were thirsty, hungry, and cold, but also very grateful when they got to safety.

The next day, they returned with help and recovered their vehicle, very thankful they trusted the directions from Freya’s pendulum.

Charlie’s Crystal Pendulum Story: The White Ant Dilemma.

Charlie saw us completing the sale of a pendulum at the markets, which inspired him to share his story. Last year, he and his wife moved into our area. They wanted to escape the city and enjoy country living. They were looking for a high-set Queenslander on about ten acres. Like many others before them, they were shown several choices, but none measured up for them.

Their agent was pushing a particular property. They liked the house a lot and were happy with the land, it was a good lot, but only 5 acres. His wife’s habit was to check all major decisions with her pendulum. They wanted the house but kept getting a negative response from the pendulum. Other than that, everything appeared to be in order.

Together, they started going through a checklist. Is it this, is it that, or is it the other? Everything was clear until they got to the pest inspection. It revealed previous white ant activity in the shed and currently in some of the fence posts. Also, some previous activity at two of the house foundation posts that didn’t go past the ant caps. These had been treated, so the house was cleared.

They looked around for themselves and couldn’t find anything other than what was on the report. Their pendulum still disagreed, and as they were feeling uneasy, they ordered another pest inspection from a different company.

It found that white ants had entered unseen between a double brick wall and entered into an old wall hidden by renovations. The termites hadn’t entered any of the new framing yet. A visual inspection on its own would have missed them. However, using modern detection equipment suggested their presence, and a little digging around proved this to be true.

Their pendulum saves the day and thousands of dollars.

Their pest man also pointed out that they could remove the false wall and treat and remove the wall behind it. Also, they could install a physical termite barrier to prevent any further intrusion. This was good news for them as they had made plans to alter that part of the house if they purchased it. Also, they planned to replace the shed and get a much better one. They were keeping this to themselves though.

Armed with the new termite damage report, they renegotiated their purchase of the house. They saved thousands of dollars that would go toward their renovations and improvements. With the renovations now completed, they are very happy in their new home in the country. Charlie points out how different things may have been if his wife didn’t consult with her pendulum. Or worse yet, if they hadn’t taken any notice!

Crystal Pendulum Story: Plumb Bob: My Crystal Pendulum.

I’ve had Plumb Bob for about twenty years now. It was so named because its shape reminded me of a plumb bob I used back in my engineering days. Over this time, I have used it to divine the answer to all sorts of questions, as well as for healing. I also have several other pendulums I use for healing.

Like Claire above, I use it to help choose books to read. Over the years, I am sure it has saved countless hours of boring and unnecessary reading. And, like Ross, to buy my cars and choose my motor mechanic. It also saved me from making a couple of shonky investments.

I think it is important that I make something clear. I make my decisions and only use a pendulum when I’m uncertain, or to confirm my choice. But I am astute enough to take notice when I get a contradictory answer. Paying attention usually works out for the best.

Whenever I have a vested interest in an outcome, I have learned that it is best to use a blind method for divining the answer. It is so easy to override your pendulum’s movement in these circumstances. One of my failed investments is testimony to that.

In short, I have found it to be a reliable tool for saving time and making mistakes when I am undecided. At other times, I stay with my decisions because, at the end of the day, I am still in charge of what happens in my life.

When it comes to healing, I find it invaluable. It comes in handy for determining what I’m dealing with, and also for choosing the best crystals to work with to affect healing. I find it invaluable for determining when a healing is completed, or a chakra properly balanced.
