Attuning it to Your Soul
If you are a novice crystal-gazer and healer, establishing a sense of ritual is very important. You naturally want to feel as “grounded” and connected to your crystal as possible so that you can help others and heal yourself, as well, before reaching out to others.
While you are working with your crystal on your own, you are using your clairvoyant abilities; you are also raising your physical and etheric, or “auric” body’s vibrations; it’s similar to “tuning” a fine instrument – but in this case, you are the instrument – the transmitter; the antenna – so to say that you must be certain that you are completely relaxed and feel a connection with Spirit through your crystals is an understatement – it’s a must-have!

Well, hello again. What a busy time we seem to be having lately. What is it they say – “idle hands make for devils play”, or something like that, not the case around here! Not TOO busy though, because we make it a point to maintain balance.
The other day I met with an acquaintance who was run of her feet – a case of far too busy. For some reason she was allowing circumstances to run her life and was becoming overwhelmed, run-down and frazzled. I tried to say to her, that she needed to take some time back to re-centre and recharge herself. But like many of us who get “that” busy, she wasn’t listening, and besides she was too busy anyway!
Soon we might be seeing her as a client, after she has burnt her vital life-force away and totally upset her equilibrium. Sure, as healers we welcome new business, but why not prevent the requirement for healing in the first place.
If you too are busy, I encourage you to take a little time out and spend it in some enjoyable re-creation. Especially something like yoga or meditation, I also recommend having a regular ‘energy treatment’, like a massage, a Reiki session or a crystal chakra balance, or any other similar treats.

Diamond is the hardest natural substance and no naturally occurring material can cut or even scratch it. The Diamond has remarkable optical characteristics and mechanical properties, and these combined with well-organized marketing, have made the diamond such a popular gemstone. Diamond has an isometric crystallography. It is most common and popular in its clear variety, but also occurs in many other colours, called fancies, which are rarer and more expensive.

We had an enjoyable day interacting with them, but it was the observation of this group we found interesting.

Aquamarine is a clear to opaque, light blue to light green variety of Beryl, which is a member of the Feldspar group. Legend says that it has its origin in the treasure chest of the mermaids. In ancient times sailors often carried it as a talisman to protect themselves from drowning and it is still reputed to be a lucky stone for sailors today.
Aquamarine is a divine and eternal colour that is in tune with water and its life-giving properties. Being attuned to the ocean it helps us to get in touch with the nature spirits of the sea. It promotes safe travel on water so it would be a good stone to take with you on a cruise.

The other day we were attending a Web Business Academy training seminar when we were reminded of Dr Masaru Emoto and his work with water. (Even crystal healers have to keep up to date with the latest trends in internet marketing and managing web businesses).
During the event the story of how he got into studying water was revealed. As a boy of about eight he fell into some deep water. At this time he had not learnt how to swim. As fear and panic overtook him he flayed and fought against the water.

Practicing meditation can be extremely beneficial. It is a safe, simple and effective way to balance your physical, emotional, and mental states. Meditating with crystals can bring a new dimension to the practice of meditation.
To get started you will need to choose your crystal. Choosing a crystal with fault lines or patterns within it may help you to ‘lose yourself’ within the crystal while meditating. Before beginning a crystal meditation make sure your have cleansed your crystal.
Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Hold your chosen crystal or place it in front of you where you can see it clearly. Take a few deep breaths and then continue to breathe gently. Look at your crystal, notice its colour, pattern, shape and take in its ‘character’.
Hold your crystal between both hands, close your eyes and relax. Imagine you are inside your crystal; let yourself move with the flow of the crystal. Let go of worldly thoughts and emotions and move deep into the centre of your crystal, imagine you are wandering through it exploring its inner beauty and enjoying its energy.
When you are ready, slowly allow yourself to come back to physical reality. Put your crystal aside and ground yourself. (A good way to do this is by imagining roots coming from your feet and going down into the ground). Wiggle your toes, shake your hands and just sit for a moment reflecting on what you saw and how you felt and noting any special messages you may have received.
To complete the process you might like to take in a deep breath and after holding it for a second or two, letting it out with a sigh. You may just want to lie down and place your crystal on its associated chakra.
A similar meditation is an excellent way to get to know your crystals. Holding your crystal against your brow or third eye chakra, or your heart chakra, enter into a meditative state. As you do this, hold an intention of allowing it to communicate with you and tell you its story. Sometimes nothing seems to happen and at other times all sorts of information is gleaned. Often you will learn of its journey to get into your hands and the reason it is now with you.
